Full Description

Our client is a London local authority seeking a Workplace Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects in support of the short, medium and long-term accommodation plans, including the rationalisation and modernisation of the 199 operational building portfolio.
You will work with and direct cross functional project teams, facilities managers, staff and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council’s property portfolio and provide post project performance reviews.
You will support the design and writing of clear and concise project implementation documents (PID’s), project plans, risk documents and deliver a wide range of operational and strategic projects, ensuring project timescales are adhered to and completed works have a full audit
trail.
You will engage with internal and external stakeholders and relevant consultants to stimulate imaginative but realistic project proposals ensuring project scope is defined and projects are delivered in a timely and cost efficient manner ensuring CFM departmental policies and procedures are fully adhered to.
You will work with individual managers and stakeholders to support service transformation and to prepare them for more modern and flexible ways of working, helping departments to plan, test and implement a range of new working practices.

Applicants for this post must be:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and / or evidence of ongoing professional development in Project Management such as MSP, Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall etc., and a NEBOSH Qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent.
Have basic knowledge of key compliance disciplines i.e. Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The
Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, ACoP L8, Health & Safety
good practices etc.
Have knowledge of Prince 2 methodologies
