Our client is a local authority based in East London which is seeking an experienced Surveyor (Disrepair) to join them for a contract role.
As a Senior Surveyor you will lead on, and be responsible for, the provision of a professional building surveying service for the Council working on a wide range of properties. You will project manage from works identification through to completion, including planning, co-ordination, monitoring and control and resident and contractor engagement, so as to secure effective outcomes which meet the Council’s objectives, as a social housing landlord.
Applicants for this post should be degree educated in Surveying and be registered with an appropriate institution; e.g. MRICS. You will need to have proven experience in project managing the improvement and disrepair projects for a Local Authority. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members.
The role will initially be offered for 3 months but it could be extended beyond this The rate offered is £400/day Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. Flexible working arrangements are offered.
