The role sits within the Construction and Facilities Management (FM) category team and is centred around mainly ‘Hard’ FM and BAU/OPEX contracts so we are looking for those with experience in procuring FM services and small works contracts. Knowledge of JCT contracts is required, specially in connection to repairs and maintenance.
As a Procurement Category Manager you will take full end to end responsibility for a range of tender contracts and models. You will make use of our client’s e-tendering platform to publish details, attract and assess bids, communicate key information and respond to RFIs. Our client uses Proactis.
You will already have gained a significant amount of experience in Local Authority procurement so you will be familiar with standard public sector procurement procedures and guidelines. In previous roles you will have set up supply frameworks and you will be comfortable dealing with stakeholders both internally and externally.
The initial contract will run until at least the end of January 2025 but in all likelihood will run until end of March 2025. The day rate is £425 (inside IR35).
