Our client, based in the West Midlands are looking for a Private Sector Housing Team Manager for a Temporary contract up to 12 months! The need an experience PEHO or Team Leader to assist the management of two separate Private Sector Housing Teams within a shared service. Ideally they would like an Environmental Health Officer or would be happy to accept good proven track record and history of managing and working in Local Authority PSH teams.
To be considered for this role you have the experience mentioned as well that you must be Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) trained and have Private Sector Housing Enforcement experience eg Notices, prosecutions, tribunals, civil penalties. You must also have Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) licensing experience and HMO enforcement experience as well as experience in implementation new legislation and subsequent procedures. Adapting policy to reflect these changes. It would also be great to have experience in DFGs, empty homes, creating and presenting reports to Local Authority Committees.
If you are successful you will be offered a 12 month contract paying £50-£55PH Umbrella.
