Our client is a local authority who require a DM Planning Officer to undertake a role that will involve the processing and negotiation of pre-application proposals including co-ordinating all associated assessment work and providing input into planning statements/briefs/and appropriate technical practice notes. You will work on a wide range of planning applications.
To apply for this role you will need a good working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need at least a 2 years’ experience of processing planning applications and you will need to be comfortable managing a busy caseload. A relevant, RTPI accredited, degree level qualification is required.
The role is based in East London, but will be a hybrid office/home working role. The rate offered is £31.38/hr (umbrella) and it will initially be offered for 3 months, though it is likely to be extended. Contact us for full details.
