Our client is a busy Local Authority in South London which a Town Planner to join their Development Management team for a contract role.
You will lead on caseload of householder, minor, complex minor and some small major applications. You will be expected to manage your own caseload independently and be a main point of contract for working with developers.
The successful candidate in this role will be an established DM Planner who has worked in London previously and understands the challenges faced with city development. Ideally you will be RTPI accredited but it is not essential and if you are working towards this then you will be fully supported. An appropriate degree level qualification is required.
The role is based in South London and the rate offered is up to £40/hr Umbrella depending on your experience. This role is inside IR35.
Our client offers hybrid working with two days a week in the office and most officers working from home the remaining three days a week.
The initial contract will be 4 months but it could be extended beyond this. Previous candidates have stayed in the role in excess of a year.
