Our client is looking for a well-rounded Town Planner who is capable of managing a range of applications from minors to small majors. This would be a good role for an existing Senior looking for more responsibility and the chance to broaden your experience. On a daily basis you will be completing reports, carrying out site visits where required and representing the Council at committee.
To apply you will need recent experience within a UK local authority development management team. You will need to be able to work under pressure when required and quickly and efficiently in order to maintain our clients service standards. A degree level qualification in a relevant town planning discipline is required, full RTPI chartership is not essential.
The contract will initially be offered for 3 months, but is very likely to be extended, and our client is offering a rate of £42/hr Umbrella.
They are based in Somerset and offer hybrid working, so you will need to be within reach of the offices.
