Our client is a North London local authority who are seeking a New Homes Development Team Leader for an initial 3 month contract, with possible extension.
You will manage a team of development, Principal Project Managers, Project Managers and Development Officers to deliver a portfolio of large-scale and complex new build projects with a value in the region of £750m, and support the Heads of Service and the Director of Housing on service policy & strategy development.
Additionally you will review each scheme and ensure there are adequate resources for effective delivery and risk mitigation, and report to the Heads of Service and take appropriate action to ensure that the project team has all the necessary skills and experience to deliver the respective scheme.
A Project Management qualification or other relevant professional qualification in a housing related subject and demonstrable experience of working in a management capacity with housing development or a development related field is desired, or you must be able to demonstrate significant experience of working in a management capacity in a housing development or related field, including management of residential development/construction contracts.
