Full Description

Our client based in NW London are seeking a Mechanical & Engineering Cyclical Contracts Manager:

The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance of the installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock. This is a key role in terms of delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirements and is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection and installation of equipment and services.
The postholder needs to be experienced in mechanical and electrical works, delivering both service schedules and reactive works across a broad spectrum to include lifts, door entry systems, alarm call systems, fire safety equipment, water testing, gas energy systems and appliances, communal heating & hot water systems and alternative green renewable energy
solutions such as ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels.

To act as lead professional in all aspects of inspections, design and building contract procurement of works for the service and to provide expert professional and technical advice, guidance, training and support in all matters relating to cyclical maintenance of the stock in a customer focussed manner.

To act as project manager for cyclical maintenance and other improvement projects as assigned, providing a professional and efficient service, ensuring that works are carried out within the agreed constraints of time, budget, quality and performance and incompliance with statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safety policies and financial regulations. This is a key compliance role and the surveyor will need to have current knowledge of statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safety legislation, guidance and best practice and policies and financial regulations.
