Excellent opportunity to join our Local Authority client in East London for a minimum 5 month period (end of Jan 25).
As Head Of Strategy And Improvement our client will be looking for someone to fulfil the core objective listed below; the role will focus on Children’s Services:
•Lead the development of the Strategy, Policy and Improvement function by working with the corporate service and directorate leadership teams.
• Lead the development of innovative solutions to complex problems using creative and collaborative approaches that brings together internal and external stakeholders to influence and shape strategy and policy.
• To be accountable and responsible for the business intelligence, analyst and performance teams for the services ensuring that all reporting supports active decision making.
• To play a leadership role on behalf of the council in relation to scrutiny and members, ensuring that scrutiny is supported to drive better decisions and outcomes and elected members are supported to effectively fulfil their democratic mandate.
