As a Head of Client Housing Technical Services you will take a lead for a professional team of asset management and client surveyors, providing professional leadership technical support and client direction in relation to the Councils housing stock.
You will have strategic oversight in respect of the delivery of the Housing repairs, capital investment, and asset management services including the Asset Management Plan for housing.
You will work to ensure housing property assets are well maintained and that planned works and capital investment are delivered in accordance with the client priorities as defined by the Asset Management Plan.
A key requirement of your role will be to have oversight of all necessary policy and procedures relating to the effective operation of the Housing Technical Client Services are you will have responsibility to ensure they are reviewed and kept up to date as necessary.
We are looking for someone who has experience at this level within a Local Authority setting. You will need a relevant professional qualification; ideally you will be a Chartered Surveyor.
You will have excellent strategic management skills, you will be a confident decision maker and you will comfortable managing multiple teams. Previous roles will have given you experience dealing with Cabinet Members and you will be a clear communicator who inspires confidence.
The role is working for a Local Authority in the South West and will initially be offered for 4 months.
The hourly rate is £71.06 (inside IR35).
