Full Description
We have the opportunity to bid for a 3-5 year contract to deliver food premises inspections for a client in Essex. We already have a very successful contract in place with this particular client so we are re-tendering for the opportunity to continue our relationship.
Typically we will be asked to deliver around 300-350 inspections per year. Where applicable this covers both food hygiene and food standards and hazard spotting.
You will be required to complete all relevant inspection paperwork using a tablet which the client will provide, and you will receive training on it’s use. Where a business scores 0-2 a letter will need to be produced and sent back to the council so they can send out to the business. You may be required to carry out a revisit to check on any corrective measures.
We would like to register interest from anyone who would like to be considered for this project either working as your main job or as a part time assignment if you only have limited availability. We are happy to divide the list up into smaller allocations of premises and make use of multiple inspectors if needs be.
To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate your competency by providing an up to date CV, evidence of qualifications and a copy of a completed Competency Assessment document.
We expect to pay rates as below:
£100-£120 Cat A
£90-£100 Cat B
£75-£80 Cat C
£65-£70 Cat D
£45-£55 Cat E
The work will be outside IR35 for those who work Ltd or we can pay via an umbrella.
