We are currently in the process of delivering an inspection project for a Local Authority in the North West and we need to add some additional resource.
The current programme will require around 550 inspections completing within the financial year and we currently have around 200-250 covered by 2 existing Inspectors. The premises are predominantly Cat Ds that require a full hygiene inspection. You will produce an inspection report and issue risk ratings. In some instances you may be required to issue a letter but this is rare.
We potentially have around 300 premises to allocate and will likely need a small team of inspectors unless you have capacity to take the role on full time and deliver the full quota.
We are happy to split the work amongst multiple inspectors if needs be and the work programme is flexible so you can fit around other commitments.
If you are interested we will need evidence of your competency to include: CV, qualifications, CPD record and ideally a completed competency assessment document.
We will pay £52 per inspection and work is outside IR35 for those who choose to work Ltd.
