Our client, based in Staffordshire, are looking for a part time Food & Safety Team Manager to carry out the duties of the Council in relation to food control, health and safety and infection control supervising the Environmental Health Officers, Technicians and Assistants. You will be asked to plan and participate in the programme of inspections and visits to ensure the authority meets its statutory obligations for food safety and health and safety. You will be managing 7 people.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years'' experience of managing dealing with front line services in Environmental Health as well as a robust knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Environmental Health matters and experience of implementing legislative changes. You must also be fully Food competent as you may be required to inspect also.
If successful you will be offered a initial 3 month contract (likely to be extended) paying £55-70PH Umbrella.
