Our client is a local authority based in London, and they are seeking an experienced and qualified Estates Management Surveyor to join them for a contract role. You will undertake effective day to day management of the Council’s property portfolio as well as assist with strategic asset management initiatives, such as regeneration projects and portfolio reviews.
Applicants for this post should hold a relevant degree and hold a Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors You must have at least 5yrs of demonstrable experience in property management and have a commercial back ground either Landlord; Occupier; Fund; Property Company; retailer etc. Substantial experience in undertaking valuations for a range of purposes and an understanding of best practice valuation procedures is also required.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor the approach to the audience, draft logical and coherent briefing notes for Members, Senior Management and for audit trail purposes. You will be able to provide innovative and creative solutions to property related projects and have highly developed negotiating and influencing skills.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months, but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this date. The rate offered is £450/day Umbrella (this role is inside IR35).
Our client operates a hybrid working policy and you will need access to your own transport.
