Our local authority client, based in the West Midlands are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Food Officer to help deliver their food hygiene and standards inspection programme
They have approximately 100 category D food premises that require inspecting before the end of March 2025.
The work schedule is completely flexible; you will not be required to work 'office hours' and instead will be provided with a list of food businesses and left to organise your own work programme using your own transport.
You will be required to complete a full food hygiene and food standards inspection for each premises, to include establishing the risk rating and FHRS and submitting copies of the completed intervention report and proforma (plus letter if necessary).
They are paying:
Category D inspection without a letter (intervention report and proforma) - £45
Category D Inspection with a letter - £60
Void (premises permanently closed) - £15
