Our local authority client, based in East Midlands are looking to appoint an experienced and qualified Food Officer to join their team. You will undertake duties in respect of all commercial premises within the district so as to fulfil the Councils statutory duties for food safety, health and safety and control of food borne illness and infectious diseases.
In order to be considered it is essential you hold the EH Degree and are EHRB Certificate. You must have experience in Health Protection to include food safety, health and safety, infectious disease control and health promotion.
This is a 3 month contract, working 37 hours per week. If you are interested but are looking for less hours and hybrid working please let us know when you respond. Hourly rate will be up to £45 per hour.
