We have an excellent opportunity for any DFG officers who are looking for a long term contract. Our client, based in Essex are looking to appoint an experienced officer to carry out the duties of the Disabled Facilities Grant Officer imposed by statute and including such other Environmental Health functions, as may be required under the direction of the Private Sector Housing, HMOs, and Grants Manager. You will also carry out the administration, processing, and delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants, including both mandatory and discretionary grants.
As this is a specialised role, our clients can only consider those who have at least 2 years experience within this field, in a local authority setting preferably.
This is a 6 month contract starting ASAP. Full time would be desirable but we are more than happy to negotiate days/hours on your behalf. Please note, due to the nature of the role you will be required to be on site to complete inspections etc, hybrid working for paperwork/admin can be discussed. Pay rates will start from £43 per hour.
