Full Description
Working for this central London authority as a CIL/S106 Officer you will manage day-to-day tasks to monitor S106 agreements, including ensuring planning obligations and payments are applied and collected on time. You will also determine CIL liabilities and process relevant notices, including issuing Liability Notices and applying surcharges in accordance with regulations.
You will be responsible for ensuring secured funding is allocated appropriately to facilitate the completion of planning obligations. On a regular basis you will be required to provide management information and prepare statutory statistical returns, including projected S106 and CIL incomes and expenditures.
Given the specialist nature of this role, you will need significant previous experience. You may be a Planner who has work experience in this field or you may have worked in the same capacity within another Local Authority.
Our client offers hybrid working, 2 days office / 3 from home. The standard working week is 36 hours.
They are offering a rate of £253/day (umbrella) and an initial be a 3 month contract but is likely to be extended.
