Our client is a local authority based in North London. They are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (Diagnostics) to join them for a contract role.
You will cover a specific workload that encompasses social housing repairs work so you can expect to be carrying out site surveys to diagnose defects and maintenance requirements. You will manager multiple smaller scale projects from end to end with responsibility for producing specification of works and schedules of rates. Specifically, you will focus on issues around damp, mould and condensation.
Applicants for this post will ideally have a qualification in Surveying or Construction and have proven experience in project managing improvement and disrepair projects for a Local Authority.
The role will initially be offered for 3 months but it could be extended beyond this. The role is hybrid and the client will provide pool cars for site visits.
The rate offered is £41.90/hr for 35 hours a week and this role is inside IR35.
