Our client is Local Authority based in Berkshire. They are offering a minimum 6 month contract for a suitable qualified Building Surveyor to work in their Property Maintenance team.
The role focuses on managing a busy programme of property condition surveys and recommending priority works for the yearly planned program, taking into account their longer-term programme for energy & sustainability investment.
You will project manage and deliver small capital projects associated with the planned programme of works, including any identified building fabric works and asbestos remedial works across a portfolio of corporate (excluding housing) and commercial assets. The role would also have responsibility for managing a number of Term Maintenance Contracts, and any re-tendering as required.
We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor who can demonstrate significant experience working within a Local Authority. The rate is £350/day (umbrella) which reflects the level of competency required; we need someone who is comfortable in a PM capacity.
