The work involves managing a range of building control duties to deal with varied projects in urban and rural locations around the Council area.
Our client, a Local Council, are currently seeking to recruit a BSR registered and experienced Class 2 Building Control Surveyor to evaluate applications and fees, carry out plan checking, site inspections, provide special Building Regulatory advice and investigate and enforce compliance.
You will have a degree (or equivalent qualification and experience) in Building Control Surveying and be eligible for BSR registration as a Class 2 building inspector. You will have strong communication skills and can show experience and evidence of working on a range of projects.
Ideally you will be Class 2 Registered already but those in the process of registration to this level may also be considered.
The contract will be at least 3 months with potential to extend to 12.
Our client is based in Bedfordshire and will offer a minimum of £53/hr (umbrella).
